Lovely Lavender Blouse

These pictures were taken in Echo Park when my boyfriend and I visited some friends. Their house and neighborhood were so lovely that I could not resist taking pictures. I especially loved the entry ways leading up to the houses, with stairs leading up. Not to mention all the flowers in full bloom. Oh so lovely! Anyways, now to the outfit. I recently purchased this top from VJ Style and I am simply in love with it! From the detail on the collar and the cuffs, to the button up closure on the back. I do realize that I did not provide a picture of the lovely back of this blouse, but I plan on pairing it with so many other outfits that it will soon be on another post.

Little Black Dress

I'm not one to wear black much and anyone who knows me can attest to that;  but when I saw this BZ dress with its empire waist and lace trim, I fell in love. Its simple design makes it easy to style from day to night. I've already worn it paired with a cropped B&W striped sweater and some heels for an easy date night look! On this day, I decided to take a casual spin on the LBD and paired it with a cropped denim jacket and some t-strap flats for a lunch date with my mom and sis. We went to Crave Cafe and afterwards for a day of shopping fun. I took the liberty of adding two pictures of my yummy lunch to get your taste buds going! ;)

Suspender Love

 Lately I have been obsessed with suspenders. I have had my eye on this floral suspender skirt for a while now, and snatched it up as soon as I saw it had gone on sale. I paired it with a cream collared blouse, and topped it off with my new favorite Jeffrey Campbell Brogues. I am truly on love with these suspenders, and best of all, the straps are removable! I am really into pieces that can be used in oh so many different ways. I have already worn it as a skirt and let me tell you, it is as adorable.

Pink + Navy

It is about time I get to bring out my pastel jeans to light. I am seriously in love with pastel colors and could not wait until spring time rolled around to wear them. I got these pink skinnies from Urban Outfitters last spring and completely wore them throughout that season and now I will do that once again. I paired these jeans with my navy collared blouse for that contrast of light and dark. There is just something about a deep color contrast that draws me in. I added my brown booties for an ultra feminine look, and I could not forget to add something floral, so I brought out my blue floral bag to the mix. Anyway, it is already April, and those April showers are in full swing. Today is a day to stay cuddled under the covers with a cup of coffee.
